At Learning Bites, we teach character through art.

How it started

Hannah Cutler started Learning Bites in 2018 when she began creating illustrations to depict “soft-skills” like patience, perseverance, and imagination. She hoped to reach students and youth — to empower them to develop these skills and build self-confidence.

Why soft skills?

Soft skills are in high-demand but lacking.
According to the Wall Street Journal, 92% of nearly 900 surveyed executives said soft skills were equally important or more important than technical skills, yet 89% said they have a “very or somewhat difficult” time finding employees with those soft skills.

Efforts to address the soft skills gap have traditionally been dry and ineffective.
Current players include classroom magazines, educational tools for parents and teachers, partnerships between companies, non-profits and schools. Parents and teachers grasp the importance of soft skills for students entering the workforce but there is a lack of specificity in terms of what and how soft skills should be taught in the first place.

Learning Bites gives students the skills and self-confidence they need to thrive.

We create engaging visual content that highlights character qualities like patience, perseverance, and imagination… and leverage it to instill these qualities in youth.
